Field Supply is having a sale right now on their Hatsan 155 springers. Their regular price is 339.99- on sale for 199.99. Is this a good price for the gun? Is there any specific difference or problem with having a springer over a vortex? Thanks

I have read on here that the springer version is more powerful than the vortex versions. I have the 100X in .25 cal, and it's a beast! I got it from Field Supply when they had it for $123.99, which i thought was a great deal.

i just recently received a 135QE vortex and its just like whirly explained it to me.
its no slouch !! @ 943fps with a FTT 14.66gr pellet.
its a hand full, if a springer can do more than that....you need to buy that 155
because there is not another right out of the box AG that can produce that power
within that cost amount.
good luck,

I have the 100X Torpedo's in all three calibers and am impressed with the quality, power and accuracy for the price ($124 delivered). I've been eying the 155 and if it gets to the $150 range I'll pull the trigger. From my experience, the steel springers have a bit more power than the vortex models (I have 135's in both steel spring & vortex gas ram). If you want a sledge hammer .25, I'm sure the 155 will fill the bill.

Thanks for the replies, all of you. I REALLY appreciate it!!! I did end up purchasing it, i'm hoping it works with the power of a sledge hammer! I would have probably preferred a 135, but the 155 was tooo good of a price! Thanks- I value your opinion highly! DM
