went to crosman with a discount code and waiting for free friday shipping......but,
i just found the combo blemished at midway for $293 with free shipping !
it carries there 90day return policy if i dont like it, so i took the chance and saved $44

i will see 6/27 what its all about......

what drove me to this purchase is the mods that are available for the disco

You just described me to a 'T' 
Since I bought my Discovery 22 I have no desire to go back to my springers, pumper or CO2.
I recently bought a Caldwell Chrony to compare my MRod 22, Discovery 22, springers and pumper. After looking at the results of them all I know I made the right decision getting the Discovery.
The mods are what convinced me to go with the Discovery. TKO and trigger are done. The power adjuster is next.
I dare say ya going to love the Discovery.

As mentioned above, step carefully. I stepped into the 'Darkside' and am now at the $700 range and I've just started. Springers are a bargin compared to this addiction. But I'm loving it for now, we'll see where it leads.

X2!! I lost count 12 to 15 (expensive German/UK) rifles ago since 2015. Bought sold returned traded swapped, you name it.  I'm "down" to four now. Three PCP and my one and most likely last springer, MM full tuned Xisco XS25 that will shoot matchsticks at 30 yards.  Only hunt with PCPs due to consistent, eyeball accuracy.

Welcome to the darkside John,     Beware and be afraid, be very afraid.  There are no cheap PCPs.  I too started like you and after a short time I was into my disco like a mouse after good cheese.  Buy, sell, trade.  Need more stuff for my disco.  Always looking for another mod., another good deal.  Then one day I thought I was finished, and then my wife got a Gamo Urban.  It maybe starting all over again.  I'm getting too old for this kind of nonsense.  (yeah, right)

I am so glad and happy I did it, I started right off the bat with a Hatsan bt65 in .25 tuned, with a Neil Clague LDC, and have absolutely no interest in playing with the springers, so much fun to be able to hit small targets with open sights consistently.

I've pretty much done the same as bigship here did. Started out with one Mrod then 2 and then 5 total then a disco then another and another and then I can't remember but I think next sold those and bought a WARP and then tried and Mutant sold those had a BSA R10 sold that then a BT65 .30 carnivore and sold that and a RAW HM1000X .30 and sold that. Then got 2 Daystate Regal XLs one .22 and one .25. Sold the .22 and selling the .25 shortly. Got a Prod and then a .25 Veteran Standard and Shorty .22.... hopefully you have more will power than me!!
