got some new pellets from NORICA today
«

When visiting the local gun store yesterday (Bold Action,Netherlands) I was looking for some heavy pellets to use in my Evanix AR6.
They had some new pellets in store from norica
The Destroyer is a copperplated 28grain pellet witch reminds me of the H&N rabbit magnum
The Monster is a copperplated 26grain pellet witch resembles a copper version of a skenko
I haven't had any time to test them yet but they look very uniform so far..
The box claims »20% increased speed« don't expect it to be true since the copper h&n doesn't make any difference in speed..
Anyone had any experience with these pellets?
Will post pics soon and come back to you guys with some results...

Hello Gr. Ben,
according to manufacturer:
20% increased velocity is compared to similar weight and shape pellets.
Pellets are originally designed for pest control (where ever is legal) and long distance shooting.
Check if they fit your AR6 magazine.
Best regards,
Gorka

I've never even heard of Norica. Maybe include some pix of the pellets and their boxes with your next update, for those of us stateside.

Norica's website here:
HERE
I had a chance to shoot a Dragon GRS- really nice air rifle for the money, was more accurate than I can be. They often go on sale on Amazon, but every time they do, I end up having money tied up elsewhere.
Nice seeing they offer plastic containers like what Crosman once had. I prefer those over tins any day.

H&N shapes and made in Germany. Makes me think they are just rebranded.

Sorry for not posting some picture's yet..
I found the pellets to not be accurate enough for further testing..
No speed increase also, nice containers but the hole in the lid is to small, have to shake the box vigorously to get them out..
Tried them in at44, edgun r3 and evanix ar6 but wouldn't group at all (shotgun pattern at 30yrd)
The hollowpoints seem to be the best of the lot.
I also have some h&n barra power and they are a different color copper and more uniform so I don't think they are rebrands..
Still no comparison to jsb heavy or monster..

Sorry to hear that, always a disappointment. Still something to use when breaking in new gun.

I have some Norica wadcutters in .177- they aren't the best in any of my .177 guns, but shoot good enough for plinking with accuracy, and I've taken a few HOSPs. Wadcutters, as many of you are aware, are devastating on small pest birds.
When I get back to VA, I'll run some through my QB-79, since I haven't used them since rebarrelling that rifle. The Norica WCs aren't in the "top 10" for my PP700- barely edged out by H&N Excite wadcutters.
I figure if a box/tin is cheap enough it never hurts to order one. That's how I found the RWS Meisterkugeln WC were the best by far in my 760 pumper, easily beating out JSBs, H&N, and CPHPs and Domes.

NORICA is a Spanish company established in 1917 that sells airguns, and equipment. I have seen them in Europe, I guess they are better known there?
NORICA pellets are available through Amazon, Rockstar Tactical Systems (out of PA), and I am sure somebody else.
I have never used them, so I have no knowledge of their performance, although they look a lot like other known pellets (as well as characteristics), so I am not sure who makes what for whom .....
Keep shooting .....
