Am I using correct mil-dot reticle setting in Chairgun?

I'm trying to create my range card for a new springer to take hunting. I'm using a Leapers 3-9x40 scope with one of those mil-dot reticles that has 9 dots on each side of the crosshairs. But in Chairgun the best option seems to me "Generic mil-dot", yet the rangecard produced then only has 5 dots on each side. So I do not know if the drops are the same for my scope?
I guess it could be, if I only use the top 5 dots. But then again maybe it doesn't work that way?

You need to measure the mil dots on your scope to see if they are mils, half mils or not mils. Make 2 lines on a piece of paper 3.6 inches apart and post it somewhere you can aim at it with your scope. You need to be precise with the distance. At 100 yards that is 1 mil, 50 yards 2 mils, 25 yards will be 4 mils or 10 yards would be 10 mils.
