scored a 1600 power-matic fixer upper

 just got a 1600 off ebay i guess it leaks and has a sticky trigger but looks like it was broke early in it's life and has been sittin in box ever since, the only blemish i see in pics is rust on co2 screw knob one of the coin slot ones.
 i have been wanting to get back to my roots in air-gunning and get a bb gun. i whittled my choices down to 454 1600 or an auto air 2. the 454 1600 won just on looks as its modeled after the infamous colt woodsman and isnt as plastic as the auto air.
 if anyone has worked on one and has any advice i would greatly appreciate it. seems easy but theres no substitution for experience.
should arrive next week  im crossing my fingers hoping it just needs some pellgun oil ran though it, but wont be too sad if i have to reseal it cuz i will probably do that anyway

I resealed a couple of the 454's, a couple years back. Think they are real similar to the 1600. As I recall it was not hard. I think the piercing pin seal is that flying saucer that does the same job in the 38T. The valve stem is the same as the replacements for a Cr MK I, believe it or not. The rest are orings, I believe. Only trouble I had was fiddling the BB shuttle into place on putting it back together. Good luck.
