DIY 13xx Mod Day

Well it started out by making a pivot pin. As you can see the brass was a little weak after (2) 10 pump trails. I then made one out of a worn out 3/16 drill bit. That didn't work out either. Found a piece of stainless steel stock round and it seems to be working for the moment...



I also tapped my FTP for some off-setting set screws... I was pretty sketched as I didn't wanna ruin the Alchemy Airwerks FTP...




I then made my own brass safety and went to town polishing.

I made a brass pivot pin several years ago, I haven't used my 1377 too much but it has a flat top piston and pumps up pretty good, sure it's bent like that but it hasn't gone any further and still cams shut... but that was a hind sight thing for me, just haven't replaced it yet

Looking good, I polished it up like you did back then too, but it's been sitting in a vehicle or otherwise abused for several years so isn't as pretty anymore...

I'm right with you. Not a fan of trophy queen guns. Whether that's firearms or pellet guns. Dents and dings give it character... Like my AR. It has over 1k rounds through it without cleaning and about 5 different colors...

Thanks. It's amazing what a drill press, dremal and GTA can do for you. Most can be accomplished for a few bucks or free....
