I've been seriously looking at the Bullboss also. You are not the first to report problems with the air cylinder rubbing the barrel. IIRC one poster had accuracy issues and sent it back. Next one was better. I have a BT 65 so I can sympathize with checking the gouge. The H in Hatsan stands for Heavy. LOL. Stretch out the legs and make sure you don't have an accuracy problem at longer distances.Good luck.
I may have seen that, however, my issue is not that it rubs but that there is some flex as mentioned so the end if the air tube knocks on the barrel a little bit. The only thing holding it in place is the screw probe on the other end so I don’t know if you could get around that. The Velcro may stop the knocking sound. I filled it over lunch and again had a hard time getting a seal so it would fill. Finally, after moving he probe some and opening the tank valve a little more it finally sealed and starting filling. I did leak air until it got to about 1500 on my tank gauge and then it started to fill. Also, I got a couple extra magazine plus the two that came with the gun and one will not advance when cocked. The other three work fine. Although, I don’t know if it was one that came with the gun or one of the extra I bought. Should I call Hatsan or pyramydari?

I'm not sure about the gun. It depends on how much wobble you have with the air cylinder. Is it flopping around and rattling on the barrel easily? If that is the case, yes send it back. If you are just able to move it a little under tension, that is normal. If it is almost or touching the barrel, this would be amplified of course. If that is the case, it is more of a judgement call on your part. I mean there is a little flex to it, but it shouldn't be flopping around. I can make mine tap the barrel slightly if I shake it up and down, but it isn't something that happens without me trying to make it do it. Mine is very close to the barrel, but other than that its a tack driver. If yours is like mine, and the gun shoots great, then the small patch of velcro may be fine if you're fine with it.I've found the fill probes to be a tight fit on all the Hatsans I've had, and I usually rotate it a little while inserting it. I goes in at an odd angle too. If it is to the point of cutting the o-rings, then that isn't acceptable. I will say it shouldn't have to be pumped up to 1500psi to seal. If that were the case, I'd never get my guns pumped up, since I hand pump. The most important thing is to see how it shoots at 25-50 yards. 10 yards won't tell you what you need to know. If you try different pellets and can't find one that groups under an inch at 25 yards, send it back in my opinion. The Bullboss is a rough gun, but it shouldn't be to the point of inaccuracy and parts flopping around. Descriptions on here may not tell the whole story, and are hard to convey exactly in some cases. Long story short, its a bit of a judgement call. Most importantly, if you aren't happy, send it back! Don't be afraid to send it back if it doesn't meet your expectations. PA will take care of you if that's the case.I've been very happy with mine, and they do have great power out of the box, and even more with some elbow grease I don't know your shooting ability, and everyone is different, but I personally wouldn't be happy if it wouldn't group .5" at 25yards.

I'll give pyramyd a call they've always treated me well. Just thought if it was one that came with the gun pyramyd may not be responsible. It's definitely not flopping around by any means just a little flex and it shoots real well at 25 yards. I'll have to wait to open things up any further.Filled it this morning and had a little better luck. I'm thinking i just need to get used to it. Could pelgun oil be used on the orings?Haven't had a lot of time with it but so far i'm loving it and think it a keeper! Thanks for all the input!
Quote from: Rallyshark they do have great power out of the box, and even more with some elbow grease Do you know how much fpe gain is possible with tightening the hammer spring? Or are there better options to get more power?I also wonder what the heaviest .25 pellet is that will still fit in the mag.
