Upgrading?

Hello. How are you?
Well, I have A Gamo Big Cat 1200 (.177) and thought I would take a step up.
I have looking at the RWS 34 and RWS 34 Meisterschutze Pro Compact (I
really
like the looks of the compact).
First, I hope these two would be very satisfying in accuracy and quality. A GOOD trigger is very important (as I am sure it is to everyone else).
Are there any "real world" performance differences between the two? There is a $80 difference. I could use the extra $ for a tune if the differences are only cosmetic....maybe. I really like the look! "Oh look, something shiny........" I can be superficial at times.
Thank you for your advice .
Steve

I have the 34 .177 and she is a tack driver and the trigger beats crosman and Gamo's stock trigger hands down.
Very accurate, not to much recoil and if you can get the t06 trigger you are laughing although the t05 like mine breaks very crisp. It can cluster pellets around a pellet hole at 21 yards.
As for the pro compact some else will have to fill in the blanks.Rob

Can't go wrong with a 34. Great rifles. You will most likely need a tune or @ lease a drop in kit as they do have a bit of twang. Mine are all T05 triggers. Trigger is nice and I have no complates but the T06 I hear is sweet.
Just picked up a couple of these from AOA. T05 trigger ,Matte finish ,muzzle break, scope and mount for $198. I got lucky and both have 8 land barrels. If you go with a T06 gun they all have 8 lands.

I have a big cat and its a sweet shooter but the RWS guns are a whole nother world of nice. There is no comparing my RWS guns to my gamos. Best bang for the buck out there. You will be very pleased with he 34 andwhen you get ready to tune it theres a vortek kit for it. The T05 & 6 triggers are nice. The 06 is more adjustable but both are nicer than gamos. If i had to do it again id have a 34 pro compact instead of my hunter. They are just nicer guns.

My 34 .22 with the T06 is now my favorite gun. The shot cycle is not just nice, but enjoyable. That trigger breaks just thinking about it.
Get it - you'll never regret it.
