BSF Bavaria 50

Hey guys,

I have an old BSF Bavaria 50 springer, and I'm having an issue with the trigger pull.

Basically it's always moving, and I have to take a screwdriver with me every time I shoot the thing. Gets annoying as you could understand. The adjustment is at the rear of the gun above the hand grip.

Also, anyone know what the HW version of the B50 is? I think it might be something like the HW30 or HW35, not sure though. It's been difficult finding ANYTHING one the gun since I've had it. 

Any info or tips would be greatly appreciated.

A little loctite on the threads should solve the problem. Remove the screw. Degrease the threads. Apply some blue loctite. Reassemble, and adjust to your liking. Let set up overnight. That's all there is to it.

Your trigger adjustment scheme is pretty simplistic - the screw changes the depth of sear engagement and any looseness in the thread fit, dirt or debris inside could make it not repeatable.  The Loctite is a good idea but you may want to clean all the trigger parts.  Looks like the BSF 50 shared a simple trigger design with their smaller models, and only the 55 and up used the unitized multi-lever trigger.  There is no "HW version" of your gun - the two were competing manufacturers - but in terms of model lineup position, your 50 is closer to a 30 than any other HW.
