Long range fun at the R&L shoot

Just got back from a great day at the R&L Airguns fun shoot and thought I'd share a picture of a 5 shot group I shot at a (I'm guessing 8") gong set at 125 yards.

Low and right was my first shot.  Altogether I'm pretty happy with the longest range group I've attempted so far.

Shot with my .22 Gen. 2 Marauder (stock with out of box/factory tune) using H&N FTT 5.53 and a Centerpoint 4-16x40 AO.

Lots of fun.  I managed to throw around 800 pellets down range today, and I wasn't even close to being the one who shot the most!

Nice shooting.  You don't know how bad I wanted to go to this event.  That is some beautiful scenery out there!

Hopefully there'll be another next year!  Looking at the rifles in your collection you would have been very happy, almost all of them were in attendance.  I didn't "test drive" anything while I was there but they'd set up anything in the shop to let you try.  I think there was a tethered .308 at the end of the bench and I think I heard that someone was firing a (maybe?) .457 in the enclosed range.  I only got to go one day but I was hearing stories about after dark drone flying and night vision scope shooting as some after hours fun!
