Depends on the PCP.  A .177 Wildcat with full charge 200+ shots with less then 12 fpe and sub .5 inch groups makes seem archaic. ..

I admit, that would be very nice for a days shooting, including small pest. no cocking, quiet, and a tack driver. The PCP experience make shooting much more enjoyable and the the non recoiling action is the way to go.
