Another new 34 topic

Got the new 34 in .22  Ran a couple patches thru the barrel and sighted in the open sights.  Then shot 25 shots into a bull at 15 yds.  Greatest outside spread was just under 3/4" and the group had a roughly oval shape.  The trigger felt very nice although I only ever used 1 other air gun.  It was a surprise the first few times it went off, very light pull.  When putting pellets in the barrel the top seemed to be in a little deeper than the bottom but the gun shot OK.
As long as this thing shoots "minute of groundhog" at 25 yds it'll be OK by me.
I have a leapers 3-9x32 waiting to be put on next so we'll see where it goes from there.

The breech is angle cut. my m34 in 22cal was shooting 660-670 fps with 14.3 pellet. so I chamfer the breech hole an now does 712-720 fps. the 34 have to small of breech seal a lot of the gun,s are losing air at the seal. also by chamering the breech hole you won,t damage pellets. I did,nt like the idea of the bottom of the pellet sticking out.

What is chamfer the breech hole? Both of my 350's have te angled hole where the top is a little deeper. I just push the pellets in flush. But if theres a new trick or excuse to use my power tools id like to hear about it! Lol but seriously.

To chamfer the breech hole so the pellets fit deeper an get better seal an no damage of bent skirts. Is drill or demeral the hole a little deeper. I use a drill with bit larger then hole. Then polish it with a cone shaped demeral stone. I got a 60 fps increase. I do it on all guns that have a pellet fit problem. If you are getting a good seal you won,t get a large increase. but the 34is noted for bad seal. I one of my other guns I got a 80 fps increase. the ronmania poiner 3# when from 440 to 525 fps
