Yeah, that Ol' dark magic has me in it's spell. I ordered a Crosman 2240 with a stock Saturday, and I am looking forward to seeing what it will do in stock form. I know there are a quadzillion mods out there for it, but I will leave it pretty much stock accept for maybe a spring mod on the trigger and a ho-made power adjuster. I am looking into using a 14.5" barrel from a 2250B or perhaps a shortened 2260 barrel . I will probably buy a Crosman Custom 2240KT as it has a lot of the extras on it already and mod that. I found, that it is cheaper to have it all set up with the barrel you want and steel breach, muzzel brake, trigger,  than if I did all those same mods piece by piece.  I have an extra QB78 in .22 cal I bought by accident instead of a .177 . I am going to use it to see if I can do some mild mods on it still running CO2. the QB79 I might do the " $200" thing to and some slight valve mods when I feel comfortable doing so. I have always liked CO2 and pump guns for the ease of shooting them. I use my spring/gas ram guns when I want to shoot on the cheap and get some trigger time in. with all the articles on here about the various PCP guns, it makes it A LOT easier to find what you need to do. I thank all the wonderful people who have put the time in to give me the knowledge in this forum. I think next spring I am going to get a Disco, more "dark magic" LOL
