Same action, right?

My kids got me a Crosman F4 for Father's Day (yeah, they're great kids), and it is a fine rifle*. But that stock, though. I'd like to trade it out for a Venom wooden stock. That action looks the same in the diagram, so it's just a matter of ordering the stock & the trigger guard, right?
*That recoil is something I was not expecting from, 'a BB gun' (yes, I'm still new to this sport).

I THINK it's the same gun. Compare part numbers between the two parts diagrams, especially for the compression tube tube assembly. For the Nitro Venom it's part number BT9M22-02-00. If the F4 uses the same compression tube assembly you're in business. You can order the trigger guard for the Nitro Venom if you wish but I wouldn't. I but the trigger guard for a Benjamin Regal on my Nitro Venom - it's metal, the Venom guard id plastic. The metal part number is B19-7-00-1.
Good luck on your quest.

Thanks for the info on the trigger guard. Unfortunately, I can find no diagrams of the F4 or the Fire, but the action, safety, & trigger all look the same so I'm guessing, 'yes'.

The complete model number is CF4NP17SX. You may be able to call Crosman customer support for a parts breakdown. You're right. It exists but there are no downloads for it. Given the fact Crosman used the B18/B19 platform so extensively there is an excellent chance that's what you've got. You're right, it certainly looks like it.

I've been wondering the same thing. Been told it is the same as the Nitro Venom. Compared part numbers between the Nitro Venom and a few others. Same numbers so I'll bet the parts are the same but don't know about the stock. I didn't like the stock at first but have become used to it over time. Bought the F4 because it was cheap and wanted to try a gas piston gun as all I have is springers.
Love the crazy thing after I finally figured out how to shoot it. It's a tack driver at 25 yds.
Let let us know what you find out.
