Shooting today

I was shooting my Galatian today, well I was shooting a lot of guns. I noticed there are two things I do not like about her. She is HEAVY & LOUD. I do like she is very accurate with H&N FTT 8.64 4.51, but with that being said I just might buy some Barracudas or something heaver. Since I regulated my .22 MROD she likes Discovery 14.3 pellets, really likes H&N FTT 14.66, & absolutely adores the Barricuda 21.14 pellets.

Hitting within 0.5" with the Galatian at 60 yards is no problem, the field cats love the accuracy because they get fed bird for their diet. It is my opinion that the Galatian is really more suited for .22 with a heaver pellet or a .25 with a 25 grain pellet. So with that being said I will be looking for a heaver pellet for my .177 and from what I have seen I might be doing better with H&N, but I will be looking.

That Galatian is very accurate, I'm glad you appreciate her. 

I shot that gun for one day, before I tuned her to reduce the noise.  I literally felt a pain in my (one remaining - working ) ear when I shot in my indoor range.  However, if you shoot at around 910 fps, she's not that loud !  I know she holds her accuracy at 960 fps, but your gonna need a LDC.

The weight is the reason I sold it; and the R10's.

I have an LDC being made for me, I just wish the magazine was easier. LOL I even bought another one. I will be getting some H&N Barracudas for my MROD soon, she may love them and it will slow the speed a bit.

I did have a problem with my .177 MROD when I slowed her to 930, she just likes 960 more. This might be the case with her because the regulator (on my Galatian) is all over the place when I tried to shoot slow, but at 1000 she is lights out.
