XS25 Owners Question

I wanted a .22 barrel for my RWS 36. I contacted Mike and he sold me an XS25 barrel.
Are you all using droop compensating mounts? The barrel I received shoots 9" low at 50'.
I found a .04" mount but it was $100 which is more than I wanted to spend on this setup.
I was able to shim my current setup but I don't think what did was stable and accuracy was poor.

what if we removed all the warning labels, and let nature take it's course?

Re-center your scope and bend the barrel, to get your poi close. Fine tune your zero, from there. Check out the post on barrel bending in the GTA library.

You can bend the barrel or get a droop compensator mount from PA for $19. Raises POI 10" at 30yds.

Well, that's a better price. Didn't find that one.
I may just bend it. Another airgun project.

I droop mount all my German guns. My XS25 with the full tune by Mike M. is a shooter out to 30 yards, but it droops like crazy just like the German gun (Diana 34) it copies. You can find the UTG mount I use on Pyramid Air under "drooper mounts"
My Hatsan shoots high, so I used the same mount and just turned it around. Worked like a charm LOL.
