I noticed that as well. It's hard to resist the dark side
Not saying that I know anything, but it could be a marketing ploy. I can see the TX200s and Marauders being on the list from all the posts, rifles listed by owners in their sigs, etc., but some of the others not so much.If they list a not so good seller as a best seller, it encourages people to research that item and possibly convince them to buy it. In return, it becomes a best seller. And unfortunately, at approx. 15,000 members on this forum alone, there isn't enough feedback going around to verify what is/isn't being bought for us to verify at ground level. There are a lot of forums with members belonging to more than one forum, so an accurate count of airgun shooters including those not on forums is next to impossible to guess at.
That said, I too am a bit surprised at the lack of Hatsans.
The majority of airgun owners/ shooters don't go to the forums. I would wager that Pyramid lists what "they sell", which does not reflect total sales in the US. As many years that Crosman has been around, it would surprise me if they were not the top sellers. I have been shooting for 40 years and up until a couple of years ago, I had never heard of Hatsan.
