Got my Optima mounted and sighted in on my 1077, since i took it out of the hatsan box, it's still working fine lol. i didn't scope my hatsan 125 .25 cal. until it was through its break in ,then first with a CP 3x9x40  i noticed potential problems so i changed it with a UTG bug buster been taking the thump of the heavy springier for a couple years now.

To the best of my knowledge, the Mod 95 isn't considered a magnum class springer or gas ram depending on which version you have. You don't get into those until you hit the 125 and up models which are rated for 100fps more than the Mod 95 and lesser versions and have bigger springs and more powerful rams to produce that extra power.
The plain and simple fact of the Optima's is they were a cheap toss in to make buyers feel they were getting a better deal. Personally, I wish they'd give you an option for no scope and take say $30 off the rifle price (they actually sell the scope for $29.99) so you could choose what scope you wanted and every review I read flat stated the scope was a usable starter but plan on upgrading and exactly why: the Optima is cheap and won't last.
Just to experiment, I tossed one on my Webley Spector .177 springer...the scope didn't last 500 shots and the Webley is definitely not even close to a magnum class springer so hopefully that tells you a little about how cheaply made it is.

I put mine on my Vantage. Took about 12 shots to get it zeroed at 50'. Works great but............I have all of maybe 50 shots with it. The Vantage is the lowest powered rifle in my arsenal, maybe it'll last a little while. We'll see. I can always use it for a paper weight.

IE is for illumination enhanced I think. Just not sure of "IR" or if it would be the same. I could not find an "IR" model. I am looking at scopes too for if and when the Optima dies.

Thanks for sharing. Looks like a decent choice. I look forward to hearing how it works out. Must be tough to know it is right there but has to wait until Christmas.

I took the Optima upgraded scope that was part of my Hatsan AT44s-10 QE purchase and put it on my Crosman Discovery ... perfect, as there is no recoil  and it does have mil dot .... but it is not half the quality scope my inexpensive UTG 4x AO mil dot is for $48.00 ! (Well I said perfect.. for now at least, it is really an insult to have that scope on any gun).

Optima scopes are pure frog hair ... they do stink !

I have a buddy that got some kind of Ruger at Walmart and the Optima scope is much better than the 4x32 he got with that Ruger. In fact I'm giving him my Optima since I got a new scope today.
