Yesterday I ended up canceling my backorder for it at Midway and got a refurb from Airgun Pro Shop. While there I added their Hatsan Factory Bulletproof (tuning) service to the order so they'll clean it before I even get it.
Congrats on the new gun/s.Keep us posted. I'm looking hard at the .177 model. Kinda want a scope for a new gun, but sounds like it's gotta be a pretty good one to withstand the spring recoil...For me it's kinda come down to a comparison between the Hatsan 95 and the RWS 35 clones (Flying Dragon XS25 and Ruger Hawk series). I was thinking of the Gamo Silent Cat for a while... but I hear so many good things about Mike Mellick's FD guns (no scope), and the Hatsan 95 (with scope), that I've mostly given up on the Gamo.
A rifle is like a woman. The longer you work with them, the more comfortable you become with them. You learn their little nuances, and either adjust to them and have a winner, or get rid of them and get a new one. No rifle or woman is perfect, so you have to have reasonable expectations for both. Just the ramblings of lifelong shooter and 43 years of being with the same woman.
When people post their groups. Is it off a rest or off hand?
