Crosman 1400 not pumping

Hi friends, I recently picked up a 1400 at an auction. Unfortunately it did not shoot, I cracked it open and replaced the seals, quad seal was all hard and came out in chunks. Put it back together and it still doesn't shoot. The pump cup isn't perfect but it should be pushing some air into the valve assembly. 10 pumps, trigger pulls and nothing happens what should I try next?

Take the valve apart again and clean everything until it's spotless. Pay special attention to the valve seats. Use a wood dowel to give the vinyl check valve a tap with a hammer to seat it while putting it back together and you should be in business. The flat head piston from Mac1 is likely the easiest solution for your pump cup if it needs replacing.

Also check the quad seal to make sure it's seated properly under magnification.

If the pump piston is working air has to be going somewhere. Listen while you pump and see if you can tell where it's going.
