Can a male 1/8 quick release be put on a universal paintball universal fill adapter?

What the heck is a "Universal paintball universal fill adapter"?

If you are talking about one of the below, sure - just put a 1/8" hose between them

That is the adapter, but I wanted to put the male quick release on the adapter without the hose.  The threads appear to be different.

Well the piece I have like that is threaded 1/8npt and so is my QC so mine would fit. Maybe you have a QC that is BSPP thread? Very similar except one it tapered and the other is not.
