Did some 20 yard shooting with my striker edge vortex .25 yesterday . shot well considering I have not shot a springer or gas piston gun in nearly 10 years . I was having paralax issues with the scope . It would not focus at 20 yards above 6X , even back at 35 yards the cross hairs were blurry past 7.5X . what is the parallax set to on these ?

I was SWAG it and say 50 yards.
Often you can take off the front ring and turn the insides to change the parallax, or so I have heard and tried on a scope to what appeared to be success.

yeah it seems like it is,I ran out of daylight so couldn't check it farther . I had hoped to use it for one season . I'll look into readjusting the parallax setting . I have done it before on a bushnell 3-9x40 rim fire scope i used on my diana 24 . Don't remember how , to long ago lol

adjusting the eyepiece should get you close ;)

The eyepiece is only for focussing on the reticle.

MI YETI-
Yes it is not a very good scope. :'( Better than nothing, sometimes.....
Spend the money and get a "real"scope".

I'm hopping to get by with it for a while . The rings were far worse , I replaced those right away with a utg one piece . Probably going to replace the 2-7x32ao hawke on my condor ss and move it onto my edge . That will take a while , Feb at the earliest .
