I've been taking a look at purchasing an hatson 85 sniper vortex and was just wondering what people's impression of them was. Good trigger? Is cocking as difficult as I've heard it is? Is it very hold sensitive? Was also wondering if it shot the crosman premier hollow points well? Any info would be appreciated

1. I have shot one it was a real smooth rifle cocking and firing.
2. It's the quarto trigger so it has some adjustability you won't get a 1lb trigger out of it so if that is what you are looking for go find something else....
3. I didn't have any issue with hold sensitive
4. crossman premier hollow points are garbage, find some real pellets that are actually quality like.... JSB or H&N

Not looking for a 1 lb trigger but something relatively smooth breaking. I have a umarex fuel which is a decent gun but has a 5 lb trigger that makes shooting it much harder than need be.

Any rifle from Hatsan with the Quattro trigger you're getting a good one that's very adjustable, their website and Youtube both have videos on how to adjust them, just be veryyyy careful with those adjustments or you end up with a hair trigger or no trigger.
Most of them also cock anywhere from 30-45+ pounds depending on model. I own 3: Mod 95 and 2 Edges and they all cock between 35 and 40 lbs.
Being hold sensitive varies, you just have to try different styles and see what works best for you.
Last but not least and I agree with blackfocal on this one: get JSB or H&N pellets, they work very well in all 3 of mine.
P.s.- if you buy a Hatsan with a bipod, toss it, about the only thing they're good for is displaying the rifle. I also own a Umarex Fuel .22 and the trigger really isn't that bad. I've shot worse and most of the shooters on the forum will probably say they have too. The bipod legs also came off mine...nice idea, bad engineering and too wobbly to get any real accuracy...just my 2 cents.
