Title: 4" Droop
Post by: Methuselah on October 20, 2015, 03:19:24 PM
Remington Express .22 put its first scoped shots within a dime at about 12 yards, but  4" low and 2" left.

Was wondering --- think swapping rings back to front (can move the tape to the back again) is worth trying?

If I make a gizmo to bend the barrel my math says 46 thousandths  --- does that seem right?!

Your math may be correct but it won't work that way.  You will need to overbend the barrel a bit because it will spring back some.

Sometimes reversing the scope mounts helps, sometimes it doesn't.
