Title: Years take winter coming
Post by: cpt_sfc on October 18, 2015, 11:42:00 AM
Well I have snow on the ground and it was 24 degrees last night. Most of my smaller targets have disappeared and I think maybe GOA till next spring.
I ended up at chip #127, 8 skunks 12 porkies , 4 fox in hen house , 2 yotes trying to eat even my house cat , only 4 possum. So the battle is about over for the year. Still might be larger critters but for now, The End.

Sounds like a productive year of air gun hunting.  I'm sure you'll have some targets show up to shoot at  :)

It can't be over yet, those critters get hungry when it gets colder out! I haven't even started for bunnies and nutters yet...I'm waiting for it to get colder yet, thinking this week probably. Im certain you'll see more!

I certinly am seeing fewer chippers now, but more nutters and rabbits. There is always an active target

I save the rabbits , not that many here and the squirrels, they are fat so if SHTF I have kinda a herd. If one needs to hunt for meat better to keep a breeding stock. I have a lot of predators here , of course one can't shoot them unless they are eating your domestic animals. Even then the KING (ere) I mean the state has to give you a permit for some of them.
