Title: Hatsan Model 25 SuperTact Air Rifle/Air Pistol
Post by: INVICTVSREX on October 01, 2015, 02:33:45 AM
OK so I just came into possession of a Hatsan M25 SuperTact, and so far have found very little info on it.
My queries begin with who's got experience with one, any pointers/tips, tuning Info, power mods, etc. etc. and so forth...

I have one , a .177 , & have noticed that there doesn't seem to be much online help with it. Search back on this forum & you will find a little info. Mine had to be sent back for a repair under warranty, [ FPS dropped a lot ] , & it was handled quickly. Shoots at 685 fps, now with Diablo type standard weight pellets .I am not a" springer "shooter , so it has been a learning experience for me to shoot it accurately. I still need more practice, too. One thing that hinders the accuracy, in my opinion, is the wobble in the pull-out stock. I shoot it best if I make sure to apply a little upwards pressure with an open left hand, on the front of it to take out the " play. "
I don't know anything about any power tuning for it & would be afraid that would add even more power needed to cock it. Hopefully, someone else who has one & has tuned-it will reply.

The SuperTac is just the SuperCharger with a stock.
If you have a Spring version? Yes. You can increase the power some with a good deburr and polishing of spring ends.
Trigger parts need work also. Polish and add a few washers to take out slack.
The .22 version I worked on was pushing CPHP's at around 530 FPS or so.

I have the Vortex SuperCharger and it is an awesome Chipper/Rat gun out to 20 yards, more accurate than I can be with a pistol.

Now that you mentioned it I am a bit below the weather.
 ;D

I doubt Hatsan will sell you a barrel. They have the old "liability" thing. I've asked several times about a barrel and that's all I've ever gotten as an answer.
 :(

Reading this thread makes me want to get mine back out & shoot it some more. I still have a ways to go before I am as accurate with it as I want to be. Shooting Sheridans all my life,, I am spoiled .
