Retail is $675. I expect to come in lower than that. However, it is not yet clear what options are available.

$675 for which one?  I see two models on the Manou bros site

I pass on what I know... They told me $675, but not which model or what options. Sorry, can't say what they won't tell me. I am waiting on a call from one of the brothers, and expect that will be to work out the details of payment ;-)

I also have 4 220 compacts in that shipment... but they are being pretty hush about the pricing!

Yea I have seen a few videos of the Lynx and every time they show the V10 model they never answer questions about the magazine or pricing

The magazine was the big hold-up, so that should be included with whatever model(s) they are releasing.

believe me, I am as impatient as everyone else!

I found a video on the Lynx. Follow the link then let the video load completely, and drag to about 11 minutes into it: http://www.airgunshooting.co.uk/videos-details.aspx?id=190 (http://www.airgunshooting.co.uk/videos-details.aspx?id=190)

There's a bit of describing it by the narrator, plus you can see how it looks on video. Of course, enjoy the whole video, but it's a few months old, from a European airgun show.

This link shows  more pictures. It's Spanish forum. Google will translate, but the pictures speak for themselves. The link is only a day or so old:

The Lynx looks terrific.

Title: Cometa Lynx NEWS!
Post by: AirScopes on May 09, 2011, 04:37:06 PM
Finally I have some solid news about the Lynx.

They are being unloaded from an Air France plane as I type. They will clear customs in a few days. After that, I can ship them!

Because of the production model, and demand all across the world, the initial shipment will all be in the following configuration:

* Walnut stock
* .22 caliber
* Shrouded barrel
* Standard bottle

The initial shipped items will not have the interchangeable barrels or the magazine, but the guns can all be fitted with:

* either the 400cc or 220cc bottle
* Any of the other barrel choices (.177 and .25)
* the magazine

The additional options will be available in 4-6 weeks.

I am really excited about these, and I will be contacting the first 10 on the lynx list shortly to request deposits. Be aware that the balance will be due before shipment, which may start as soon as the end of the week!

Quick questions? Being as though this would be the V10 model, with shrouded barrel? Correct?  Is the standard bottle, 400cc?  Has the price been determined?  Are you only getting 10 in this first shipment?  Magazines will be extra $?

Regretfully I have limited information. I am sure about the shroud and the walnut stock, which suggests the V10. The standard bottle on the V10 is supposed to be the 400cc bottle, so I hope that is the one included in the shipment.

Lynx V10
Barrel length: 18.5 in.
Overall length: 41.34 in.
Weight: 8.16 lbs.
Power: 30ft. lbs. plus in US
Bottle: 400 cc./200 bar.
High precision cold hammered barrel. Integrated sound moderator.
Trigger adjustable for weight and length. Manuel safety.
Easy pellet loading. Optional magazine.
Ambidextrous wooden stock, available in Walnut (this shipment).
Filted rubber pad.

The importer has told me the retail price should be $675. I will include shipping in that at least. I hope to actually be lower, but will obviously not be able to do that if post-customs they tell me the price was $100 more than expected. I do not, however, expect the price to change. I'm trying to be fair, and I hope give all the information I know...

The magazine is listed as optional. I assume that means at additional cost. I know that these have NOT been included in this shipment.

Additional barrels will be an additional cost. Again these were not included in this shipment.

I am expecting these to be as exceptional as other Cometa products, and I will be sure to review every aspect as soon as I lay hands on one!

Hi Rich,

  This is great news.  I was wondering are these barrels interchangeable, and it is just that they do not have the .177 yet or is it that the lynx will need to be modified at a later date to make it work.

  Thank You

The barrels are interchangeable. There is an adapter and barrel which will fit to the gun without other modification. The barrels are just not in this shipment.

The current allotment I have for the Lynxes is filled. I did not get as many as hoped. I do, however, expect to be able to ship to those who have placed deposits shortly.

Richard, I'm sure you will sell more if the rifle is received well. I'm one of the people waiting to see if there is a glich with the first release,  what of kind of power, and the two most important facters to me: accuracy and noise level.  I would like it to be no louder than the Maurader.

Sam,

You want to be on the list for the next round, I would be glad to take your info... No commitment necessary beside that till it gets to deposit time.

What kind of fps on the marauder?
