I am considering getting away from pump and getting the Hatsan fill unit form a Scuba Tank or Nitro. tank.
1. can I use that adapter to fill from Nitrogen tank - NOT 'air' tanks ?? Not sure if the 'tops; of these bottles are the same??
2. have not seen any review or comments it regards to this item. Does any one here have one , use them , like them hate them etc??
I hate to bug 'Joe' to ask these silly questions but I do want to get a great White ( or other for field work- and use the Hatsan fill unit AND get a bulk bottle of Nitrogen and fill from that.....??
Any suggestions on these items or idea would be great- thank you - up front

You mentioned Joe so from his site
NITROGEN HOSE ASSEMBLIES MADE IN USA! Nitrogen tanks are readily available at most welding supply shops and they are usually cheap to rent! Also, they are 6000 PSI, so you get an amazing amount of fills. If you wish to fill your Carbon Fiber tank from a large Nitrogen tank, this is it. STAINLESS STEEL tank fitting, STAINLESS STEEL Glycerin Filled Gauge that reads BAR & PSI, Highest Quality STAINLESS STEEL Bleeder with easy to turn knob and 40" x 0.070 inch ID micro-bore hose with STAINLESS STEEL strain relief at each end and STAINLESS STEEL "Foster" type quick fill = $189 + $14.50 shipped priority mail and insured.
A few things to check out,
Not all suppliers have Nitrogen available at 6,000 PSI , tank rental varies a great deal as does cost for refills.
A quick Search turned up this Thread and many others

thanks
was looking the Hatsan Brand version, have never seen or read any report good or bad on them so far.
BUT yeah Joe will end up with my cash for sure and the local dive shop will do refill for very little, they want to make people happy and have a growing list of non-divers using their service so they are not new to the whole PCP thing so I will to have to BREAK them in on what I am doing -- BIG PLUS they turned out to be gun folks too...
