Hello everybody.
I have a problem with my Hatsan BT65, 22cal. I have 920 ftp out, bullets I Uses the JSB is from 14- 18gr. When I shoot the target, I get four or five good shots and the rest flying around the target. Four shots at 30 meters with 10 millimeters hit and rest everywhere. I removed the barrel and pushed a bullet through the barrel, it was sluggish the first piece about 3-4 inches and then it went easily to the last bit 1/2 inch of the barrel.
No LW-pipe.
Does anybody have a hint what it can depend on?
I hope you understand what I mean :) Are grateful for the answers.

It may be a dirty barrel, if you already cleaned it then check the barrel crown. If the crown looks bad, with a lathe make an 11 degree cut in the crown. If that doesn't give you accuracy either go with a gunsmith and ask him to polish the inside of the barrel

If you have it down to 920fps you must have installed a regulator.
Try 900 or 890fps. Ok with that said I have the 22,25 and 30 cal in bt65.
My 22 doesn't shoot well at all, same thing yours does.
I'm about to do some work to mine and get it shooting better.
The 25 and 30cal on other hand are tack drivers.

Mine did the same thing when I first shot it. After trying a regulator that wouldn't hold consistant it was pulled off, w/o the reg it was shooting over 1000 FPS. What helped in the end was plugging 4 of the bottom holes in the valve. The end result was shooting 18 gr JSBs at 900 FPS, accuracy is there. Your mileage may vary.

All but 1 ports but 1 are tapped, set screwed+ Jb weld on all my bt65 guns.
On my 22. I can see a small spot in crown, I get around to it I'll have that fixed. But it's not bad, i think it's something else.

Did you guys do a shot string on the chrono? or check the o-rings for nicks....other then that with a .22 you should be @ 890fps- 900fps at the top
-
I am guessing these are like the at44. There is an o ring where the barrel meets the breech and if it gets funked up then you will have issues.
I have seen some shot strings from bt65 and the galatian. Untuned but they did not impress me and I was sooo happy I stuck with the at44. Is the tunes from factory just that poor? I remember one was like 20 shots from 900 fps to 940 fps and back to 900 fps.

all depends on what pellet you use the heavier the pellet the lower es is for Hatsan.

Also since the bt and galatian have 255cc tubes they should deliver way more shots than the at44 at the same power level

That and the extra barrel length. I am referring to pellets of the same weight. The string I quoted was CPHP which I shot a string with and I got better results. I know these guns tunes could use a lot of attention as I picked a lot up from small mods. I am sure the bt65 has more upside and they are just wasting air but still I am a bit confounded by it.

The bt is really designed to be a power house, if I had one it would be either .25 or .30 I really don't see a need in .177 or .22 for these guns they are just to powerful, and on the heavy side for me (I am 14 years old) However if someone that shots off a bipod or bench rests I think you can tune them for a really nice string in .177 or .22

Ya I checked o-ring.
I wouldn't even want to try shooting the 14grain pellet in this.
Would be so cool if we could fit a 50 grain pellet in the bt65 22 cal.
I do agree the 22cal is an overkill in the bt65 platform.
Least I have a reg.

Yes, I have a chrono. I don't post by making up numbers that I "think" are right. Mine shoots great if I keep it to the 900 FPS mark. Much over that it starts going all over the place.
