Has anyone mounted a 125 in a wooden stock?
-
You might be able to use the 135 Wooden stock with some work.
Since you want to bed it? That may be the way to go as you'll have extra room around the compression chamber.
The 135 is larger then the 125 in that area.
HatsanUSA will probably sell you one at a reasonable price.

Good idea Jeff.

WhiteFang would be the one to ask for better info from.
;)

like someone said the 135 is bigger than the 125 when it comes to the receiver so the 125 receiver in a 135 stock will have empty space between the stock and the receiver. This is going to cause damage to the stock as you shoot your rifle because it doesn't have the proper cushion to absorb the the recoil of the shot. Aint worth the risk.

As Jeff said it would require a bedding material. There would be a 10 mm difference.

From other threads Fang put a 135 in a 125 stock.
He stated the trigger area was a place you need to watch along with fitting the 135 to the 125 stock.
So I would think if your bedding it and watch that trigger area? It should work.
Yes! You'll need to do some work. No question about it!
It's a matter of just doing what needs done or suffering the WTM stock.
Being wood? You can add what's needed a lot easier then a synth stock.
It is NOT going to be a drop in and go project.
Much like I want a Wooden stock for the Dominator.
You can't get one in the USA.
I'm considering getting a 95 wooden stock to work on.
They share the same platform so with any needed hammering and grinding?
(Along with the properly applied swear words and plenty of band-aids)
It should work.

Yes it could be done when I was playing with them. Little work, and yes a good stock for bedding.
