Got myself locked out no phone no keys. so I sat out side with the air gun plinking starlings from 10 to 4. It was a long hot day sitting in my chair in the dogrun. If it wasn't so hot I could have killed one more to beat the record. All in all a great crappy day.

You could started this thread as a POLL:

One thing is certain, that is some fine shooting.

Very nice day in the yard. I must be in Starling lock out area here. Every time I glass the back yard, all I see are robins, cardinals, blue birds and 1 large Hawk

We have homing and roller pigeons about 150 strong and 30 chickens. The feed keeps starlings and collared dove coming in regular enough that I can't demons the numbers. I've shot over 70 birds back there with no end in sight

If the starling had known they would've flew to your home and picked up the 2nd set of keys for you.
Btw...it could've been worst....your tin of pellets locked inside your car.

My first thought was along these lines. I would lose my keys more often.

I wish I have an airgun and shoot 14 Starlings if I ever get locked out of my house. It would make being locked out a lot easier.
Good shooting! I hope you were able to hydrate (garden hose?) during those 6 hours in the heat.
