I added this to my original post but I wanted to put it here too, in case someone wanted to see it and might miss the edit to the OP.
I hope that you enjoy and thanks for watching!

Nice video! Kirby.

Nice, Thanks for sharing!
One comment though - the spinners are a bit close to the wooden post, easy to hit the wood and get the pellet fly right back at you, had that happen many times.

Interesting about the pellet coming back at you. I have shot wood with airguns plenty of times and the pellet had either embedded into the wood or took a piece out of the corner but never traveled back at me unless it was a very low powered airgun with a wadcutter shaped pellet. Even with a wadcutter in a 12 fpe gun it sinks into the wood. Thanks for the heads up and always be careful!

Excellent post. I love that how to video!

It depends on the pellet and the grain of the wood. You are right, lower powered gun and wadcutter is when I usually experience it. One time I could literally see the thing flying atraight back and hitting me in the forehead. Good thing I was wearing safety glasses

^^ the exact same thing you described happened to me with a 240 grain .45LC bullet. I was shooting at a stump. Never again! I carried that bruise on my forehead for awhile. Glad it didn't hit my eye. I now where safety glasses when I shoot.
