Title: Hatsan Customer Service
Post by: nolimit2217 on August 18, 2015, 07:23:19 PM
The stock on my Hatsan Striker Edge cracked all the way through today after about 2000 shots. Within 5 minutes of filing a warranty claim, they emailed me back saying they would ship out a new stock tomorrow. This is my second experience with their warranty service and both times they have been amazing. I just wanted to share my experience; Hatsan definitely has a long time customer in me!

Hatsan treated me very well in a claim, too.

Yes they were very good to me too.

Personal e-mail response from website contact form in less than 24 hours. Replacement sent out Priority, delivered in less than a week from initial contact. Excellent customer service! Probably the best I have seen from any manufacturer.

I've had a good experience with their customer service as well.

Any time I have ever had a question or issue their customer service has been very good. I am always skeptical of the ones who come on here and bash them saying they did them wrong. It usually isn't the whole story that is being told. HatsanUSA customer service has always done great and I see they will keep growing and getting better.

It's awesome to hear all the similar experiences; Umarex should take note.

Good to hear (read?) these positive posts re. Hatsan CS. I've considered adding a 95 Vortex in .25 caliber to the arsenal but have held off after seeing a lot of negative ones.

I had 2 cracked stocks on Striker 1000 synthetics. I emailed them and they allowed me to upgrade to wood for $20 ea shipped, which I thought was a good deal.

No complaints here.

wow I cracked  2 synthetic at44 stocks, never got the chance to get the wood upgrade??  just went out and put more cash out and a nice wood stock-
Dang next time I will just complain and see what they give me>>?? Or let have for  cheap-

Is it that hard to make a plastic stock that does not crack? They try so hard to make them light but then they are too thin in the wrong places- they never broke fully but I would hate to break it one day miles from home in the bush some where- so walnut is BETTER!!!??? Laminate stock may be the answer for the springers???

Yes my Galatian had a faulty receiver and bad barrel rifling. Hatsan replaced the rifle with a new thumb-hole, version and checked its power and accuracy before freighting back to me - free of charge.
To top that off they sent me $100 worth of extras for my trouble! The rifle now performs better than its rated specs.
 Excellent service - thanks Hatsan.

They indeed have.  If you do a search on Umarex warranty in the Dianawerks forum you will find 21 pages of postings - of which, I read through at least 6 or 7 including the threads.  ZERO initiated in praise.

However, after my complaint on the BBB site ran its course and it was obvious to all concerned Umarex had an uncanny power to make facts change with wind direction, all of a sudden their first ever positive BBB experience miraculously appeared where none had gone before (or at least not since they began doing business in 2006).

So yeah, they have taken their first baby steps into uncharted territories and bought themselves a BBB ;D

[/sarcasm]

On a positive note, BBB claims 70% of complaints get resolved to the customer's satisfaction, and Umarex has 7 out of 12 listed as unresolved and STILL has their A+ rating ... so it appears all Umarex got for their money was a mathematically challenged high school drop out  ;)

Nothing but great experiences with Hatsan here too!  They replaced two scopes (one was an upgrade), and to hear the "radio chatter", maybe QC isn't as good as it could be but the basic quality of materials and design seems very well thought out.  Not only that, but it appears this is one company that isn't complacent about fixing whatever they miss --- customer service or new product development.  I believe there are more than one company that could learn something from watching them  :D

 ;D  DANGER WILL ROBINSON, $.02 FOLLOWS  ;D

It seams, at least here in the US, THE companies to buy from (my short list) are Crosman, Daisy, and Hatsan.  Not to slight anyone who owns a functioning import...

Crosman = import, just assembled here----

I have a short list - Crossman got crossed off -
What factory in China  makes the Benji's we should see if they have an off brand version???

Hatsan get's my order 1st 2nd and 3rd time- can;t say that about any other Air gun Co. yet

I've always had absolutely outstanding service from Hatsan USA (in the form of Rick Eutsler). Very, very positive experiences each & every time.

They'd better have outstanding customer service because from reading all these Hatsan threads, there is a ton of stuff returned, or something breaks, or etc., etc.

Don't you think the measure of a man is how they behave when things go wrong?  I'd take Hatsan over Umarex any day  ;D

This seems to be pretty common for all manufacturers.  I find Hatsan's quality pretty good overall.

Ya. Wouldn't want to compare them to the perfection of the Automotive Industries.

I have read very little reviews of people returning them and the ones that do return them are for BS reasons they they chose to not take the time figure out. The quality that I have had with all my Hatsan rifles and the little dealings I have had with their customer service have been great. Mind you I have never had to send any of my guns in to be fixed or anything just if I have a question they are quick to get back to me and answer all my questions the best they can. So I kinda want to see all these sources you say of lots of returns...
