Title: Daisey Model 99
Post by: MikieG on August 17, 2015, 07:54:59 PM
So i picked up a nice early production 99 at the K-Zoo show this weekend. When i found that it didnt work i installed a new barrel, and new seals as well as relubed it.

With my sights as high as possible, it shoots 6 inches low at 20-30 feet. At 40-50 feet it is three feet low. Anyone have any suggestions?

I do not know why your gun would be shooting so low at 20-30 feet, but if it drops 2.5 feet between 20 feet and 50 feet your muzzle velocity is lower than it should be.

Have been shooting a Daisy 499 at about 60 feet lately; it should be similar in power and it shoots far flatter that that.

Will your gun penetrate one side of a soup type can?
