Title: Is all NLGI 2 Silicon grease the same?

'Looking for a more "cost effective" product that won't ruin the seals on a hill pump.  Input on this subject would be appreciated.

Go to a dive shop and ask for dry suit zipper lube

 Bought a 2oz jar of this, compared to the tube of grease that came with the pump they look pretty close.

Dow Corning produces a Silicon Vacuum Grease.  You could try that one.

Do either of you fellas use the dry zipper lube or the Dow Corning stuff?  And...for how long now?
