Post by: 750k2 on August 05, 2015, 07:59:09 PM
Brand new should be here tomorrow ;D
Hoping for nice wood but will love it no matter.
Was going to have it drop shipped to tuner but will run a couple thousand
threw and see what happens.
I'll try and learn pics when it arrives
Gonna have lots of questions around here

Been seriously thinking of adding a 35E. Do love that old world style. Can't wait for some pics and a range report.

I recieved mine new 35 a couple months ago.  A really nice rifle.  Mine has a lot of spring twang but I am sure 3-4 tins of pellets will cure it.  Very accurate though.  I have not had a chance to shoot it much but it is a true pleasure when I do.  After I get past FT season next month I plan to shoot it a bunch.

Dark walnut nice straight grain with a little mineral in it.
Absolutely worth it over beech.
RWS hobby

Now to run some tins through and see how it matures.

Wow nice toy.
No smoke but a little smell - some twang but not bad at all.
Just by energy on target it hits about the same as my .177 vortex R9 with 10.5's shooting 14.3's
Pulled the rear sight and put on one of my Anschutz match sights and it handles and looks just right.
We'll see -just may lube tune if it even needs it after it wears in.

Make a fitted spring guide, debur and a lube tune = excellence  ;)

Well I couldn't resist and took the plunge on another in .177
Even though they are big they just feel right.
I'll be running match peeps on both and will try to get
a family portrait.

My first springer was a .177 HW35Dx from Robert Law's ARH. It came 'Accurized' (tuned), with sling, scope and full length heat shrink barrel sleeve. Still have it. Shot a lot of Heineken star and Moosehead bottle caps with it, indoors that first winter.

.177 arrived and it has a bit nicer wood than my .22
Boy these just feel right for lack of better terminology.
Now for break ins and ponder on the tunes.

Just got our new 35, yesterday and I'm already in love with it. Yes, it does have a certain grace in the way it handles and feels in the hand.
