Title: What are the specs on an older HW-50s/R8 spring?

I'm trying to figure out if what I have will work before opening up the gun.

I have an HW55 which can use the old  HW50's spring and I would also be interested in the spring's coil count and dimensions. I tried google but I seem to go around in circles. How about a hint?
