i'm going to order a new spring and seal for my crosman G1.... 2 questions i have... 1) will the quest spring fit since they don't list parts for the G1..... 2) what type of lube or gease do you use when you install the spring, how much do you use,where do you get it, whats the name of it?...........  thanks... mike

Moly for the seal and a little tar for the spring.

Not sure about spring fit ,but if you have it out you may find one in the link. JM makes very nice springs and can set them for you.

When I did the tune on my G1-Extreme I used a E3650 spring that I ordered from "JM" and it worked great.  I do believe a Quest spring will fit fine as I believe the two rifles share the same power plant.  If you look in the "Library" you'll find your lube questions answered...  Let us know how it turns out...
