Title: Pressure Gauge Pointer-> on Benjamin Pump Seemingly detached?
Post by: SpiralGroove on July 15, 2015, 07:02:22 PM
Hey Guys,
Was pumping about 2 hours ago and noticed the Pointer-> on the gauge for my Benjamin pump was jumping around like it was detached?  Can these gauges be repaired or do you need to buy a new one :P  I'm betting this part would cost at least $50 :o
Can't pump up the BAM's now .................................Kirk

The Crosman gauges go out fairly regularly from what I've seen and often aren't particularly accurate in the first place.   A nice, accurate 1.5" diameter gauge can be found at McMaster for less than $15

I prefer this type but it is more expensive at $24:

If you want to hunt around for other options, look for a 1.5" gauge with a "center back" fitting sized 1/8" NPT.

Thanks Jason :D

Hope the new, Bambino is doing great 8)

Still working on QB78 leak :P.  Not valve or tank o-rings, hoping it's the tank fill valve which has been leaking through the fill hole also.  Got that fixed, but I'll try some plumbing tape on the OD thread too - maybe that simple ;)
