finished the model 1 I got from Rob112o. the mahogany stain really brought out the grain. overall, I'm pretty pleased with the way it turned out.

Pretty grain! What year was it made?

Not sure. There aren't any serial numbers. If I had to guess, around 1985, or so.

Really looks good!

That sure is handsome and something to be proud of! Don

Nice job on the wood, looks very nice.

thanks ;D. I like the way it turned out. best of all, it shoots! I'm really glad I chose to do the trade with Rob112o. I talked with him, last night, and he's very pleased with the 2400kt. we both got what we wanted out of the deal. can't ask for more than that.

looks good Scott. another one resurected.

Cat call! You where able to buff out those scratches on the stock along with the white paint smudges? She looks good. I'm glad we traded and it went to someone that was going to give her some much needed TLC. I only had it for about 2 weeks and I knew there was mad potential in her. Any rifle that's 1 hole accurate without putting any time in her is worth the effort. If you didn't put that 24kt up I'd be working on her now. Yea when I got her she was oily. I dry fired her repeatedly to push the excess oil out of the valve. Than gave her a barrel cleaning.
Welp, glad we both came out happy campers in this exchange. I can't wait to do some pesting with the 24kt.

Paint came off easy. The scratches on the pump arm took a little more work. Can't even tell they were there.
same with the paint job. Took it down to bare metal and started over. Looks like a brand new gun, only better.
