Just wanna know what rock bands/artists you guys like. Also I wanted to say that whenever I hear home bound by ted Nugent I always imagine the nuge with wooden teeth and a powdered wig whaling on an american flag guitar as he leads his compound bow wielding minute men against the red coats ;D ;D anyway I mostly listen to classic rock but if you've never heard of jd mcpherson you should check out his stuff on YouTube he is amazing and uses all analog recording (a great song to check out would be bridge builder) jd sounds like he's straight outta the 50's and you guys might like him.

My wife works at a custom bass shop. The guy that winds their custom pick-ups does work on Geddy Lee's basses. Goes to his place in St. Catherines in person to do the work and has asked if my wife wants to come along on occasion. Neither of us are big Rush fans but there is no denying he is a bass icon. The wife has met a ton of cool musicians, Dallas Green, Kitty, Monster Truck off the top of my head and have built for many others. Their shop built a bass for Tom Hamilton of Aerosmith and was invited to the concert with front row seats. My wifes hands were the last to touch it before it was given to him as she does the complete wet sand and buff, assembly, fret dress and set-up.

Johnny Cash Eh?

Yeah, about as close to country as I will stray lol. And really I consider his music more rockabilly. Told ya my list was all over the place. Started listening to his stuff more closely after he covered Hurt and Rusty Cage and I preferred his versions to the originals. His cover of Hurt and the associated video is so full of raw emotion it was hard to ignore.

Agreed 8)

Black Sabbath, Rush, Volbeat, Johnny Cash, Rage Against The Machine, Offspring, Audioslave, Metallica "And Justice For All and older", Hewey Lewis, Black Crows, Megadeath, Elvis Presley, White & Rob Zombie, just to name a few.

One of my all time favorites that I don't think was mentioned that can be left in my trucks cd player for long periods of time is the Doobie Brothers. But right now its Grand Funk Railroad.
-
Okay a stepped away and you got me reminiscing and thought of all the great women rockers I used to love to listen to. Chrissie Hynde, The Wilson Sisters, Bonnie Raitt, Debbie Harry, Stevie Nicks, Janis Joplin, Gracie Slick, Linda Ronstadt, Carol King. Yikes the list seems endless.
-
Mostly Klingon opera ;) Seriously , I listen to XM 60's,70's, classic vinyl and rewind , but most anything except rap. A very good documentary to watch for 60's fans is The Wrecking Crew, its about the studio musicians that made most of the recordings
-
Early GFR fer shure, K! Pat Benatar was my rock and roll fantasy. Didn't even have to be able to hear her.
Also keep a '20 All time Greatest Hits' James Brown CD in my old car.

Tab benoit is one of my favorite guitar players ,he's an awesome Cajun blues artist who started in the early 90's, ever seen sons of guns well he sings the theme song.
