That I did.  I had only sent 6 pellets down range till I started checking as to what the problem might be.

Yeah, I caught that in the stickies, too. About 5 days after I learned the lesson the hard way. I have a 3mm allen key permanently affixed to one of my rifles, now. I can't get more than 30 shots before the scope rings start to loosen. I'll have to pony up for some real Lock-Tite, someday, to see if it works better than the generic red goop I used.
