Great person to talk with as I have posted.
Got a chance to try the .358 ammo. 1st fewshots were notvery god on a group l. The next shoots forced the lever to spring back. Tight to load so to big od for the bore ID. Later today I am going to take a round ball and force it down the bore and sized the bore. At least try to.
on this method do I need to push it all the way out the end of the barrel. GoIng to be hard to do with the barrel on.

to slug the bore
take a slug or bullet of soft lead slightly larger than the bore
you could use one of the ones you have just stand it on its base and bump it with a hammer to swell it if needed
get a fairly stiff rod brass or steel close to bore diameter you can wrap it with tape if you need to but do not make it tight
if possible start from the breech end and tap the bullet thru the barrel lube the barrel and bullet slightly if needed
do not use a wooden dowel i can tell you a few stories of guys that have brought guns to the shop that have used wood a couple i had to drill them out to clear them
if you need more info feel free to ask

A good way to increase the size of a round ball is to put in between two steel plates in a vise. Put your caliper on it and turn handle until desired size is reached. Also puts a flat spot on the ball for driving through the barrel without wobbling. Regards, Tom
