Title: Cricket 0.35 problem with remove the regulator from the air tube
Post by: olo on July 04, 2015, 07:39:47 AM
Who knows how to remove the reg from the air tube? After removing the valve I can not pull it out. I made the handle and screw into the regulator then I pull and nothing. The reg strongly sitting into the air tube :( Any ideas and suggestions?

Remove the gauge fill end and push or tap the reg out with a 3/4" PVC pipe.
The 3/4" PVC pipe ID will go over the Delrin seat and rest on the reg body, so not to put any pressure on it when pushing out the reg.

Thanks for reply GKU.
Finally I managed to remove the reg. It turned out that airtube consists of 3 parts shown in the pictures below. It was only after removing the adapter is direct access to the regulator. The regulator is factory set at 1740 psi. It is amazing that with 1740 psi can get 119 ft.lbf. Transfer port is 7,56mm - big hole. Now my regulator is set to 2100 psi. Tomorrow I will try to do chrony test.

Hey olo,

Nice work !
That is some kind of a beast you're evolving !

I'd like to see what kind of results you're going to get.

Unfortunately, it happened what I thought the valve does not open fully above 1885psi. At 1885psi I was able to get 825fps using JSB 81gr. Now I have to find a stronger main spring and replace stock hammer.
