I bought one..... So far I'm very pleased with it. These are Scott brand tanks. They were part of an order that was going overseas to use for firefighting. The tanks have a fresh ( Jan 2015 ) Hydro test. Fresh paint and valves were gone through. The fill station is nice and new. Best bang I found for a tank by far. I'm in this set-up for a little over $ 200.00 The fill station is worth $150.00 by it's self and will fit any scba tank. So $50.00 for a 5 year tank. Very nice deal.  8)

Do you really have 5 years? 2005 manufacturer? I thought when he first advertised these the ad said 1-2 years left. Looks like that has since been taken out. Even if it is 2 years  that's only $25 per year. How is the quality of the adapter hose?

Adapter hose is quality USA made parts. Wish it was a little longer. It's nice! My air source told me as long as it has a current Hydro... And passes his visual inspection he would and did fill it. It passed the hydro test so I'm sure it's fine. The tank lives now in a dry cool basement. It's not going into any burning buildings or being exposed to any hazards should be good for many years to come.....  I'm completely happy with it.

So what is the Manu date? Places around me will NOT fill if 15years beyond Manu date.

Same here, my place will not fill a tank that is expired from age, regardless of Hydro date.

The tank is expired. But has had a new epoxy paint job and valve. Hydro test proves durability. They sent over 2000 of these tanks overseas..... There using them. I guess I'm lucky.... My guy fills mine with no problem.

The USA is the only place on the planet that these are limited to 15 years . When these were first introduced there was a provision for the DOT to extend that , But so far they have not . And I don't think they ever will , as the main consumer of these tanks are businesses (which depreciate them out over 5 years ) and fire departments that have a never ending supply of taxpayer money for new ones . And the manufacturers have no incentive to challenge the DOT , and cut their sales volume .

No good for me then. And like moorepower said - I don't see a bleeder, how do you disconnect the gun once filled?

Yup.  Worth nothing here.  No legitimate refill station will fill them here.  If I had my own compressor I'd fill a tank I owned from new (under my care it's entire life) to 30 yr life but I wouldn't buy an expired tank.

I bought one of these and it did state 1-2 years left.. He has changed the page several times since I got mine. Also dont try filling it with the hose that comes with it. He told me you could and guess what! The one I had blew both quick disconnects and the braided hose is cheap paintball braided piece of #@%^! Also gauge hasnt worked since i got it. Packaging left alot to be desired. Read reviews on him on the yellow forum. Seems someone over there claims he sold him a used gun as new.
Buy at own risk.
Don't stand in same room!!!!

To disconnect the valve you need safety glasses....  8) One benefit to the short hose is it only whips around a little.....  But, Watch you face Man!  ;D  J/K It has a slide bleeder/disconnect. Not my favorite design, but it works just fine. I'm all about safety, if I though this thing was dangerous in any way (Besides the normal)  I would not use it , but I agree with Bob with the money door of our tax money buying new ones kept open. The hydro test proves to me that there's no issues with the tank and valve. As long as I keep it safe and sound, I'm confident it will do what I need it to. I only plan to run it down to about 1500 psi then top it off. Less stress that way. If i had a compressor I would fill this thing myself with confidence for many years. This is a package to get air to people shooting PCP's without spending major money. I challenge you all to find a package like this or better for less.

I thought the extended hose looked like it had a slide check, but the short one didn't.

Can't see that lasting very many fills and disconnecting at 3K. Hope you bought a bag of o-rings.

Well there is about $50 in parts for the "adapter". (BlackDiesel has posted where he made up an adapter for the SCBA with a bleeder for $60)

Then get one of these 45min tanks for $135 shipped.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/371107005440?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT (http://www.ebay.com/itm/371107005440?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT)

Add $30 for the hydro and you have $225 in a tank with 8 years of life left and an adapter with bleeder

I seen that Tank, Rob ..... I figured by the time I bought that used tank (you know they took a picture of there best looking one) and added shipping and a Hydro Test (And hope it passes, if it don't it's junk) That step was already completed on my tank. My valve were gone through on my tank had a fresh epoxy paint.  At least I have a tank I know going in I can use. That other tank you mentioned...... It Don't look like there flying off the shelf with only a few sold out of the 300 they have offered and they have been up for awhile ..... I agree the bleeder on my tank is not my favorite.... But,  it works and a very easy fix if needed. I could have built my own fill station.... And was going to until I found the deal I got, Didn't have to. I did a lot of research on getting a tank before buying this package.... The best I could do, that I would buy was a little over $400.00 ...... I saved almost 50% from that. In conclusion ..... I'm very happy with my purchase. I ordered my tank and had it in 3 day's. Had it filled and have enjoyed  days of PCP shooting without the Ol' Hand pump. The deal I got might not be for everyone, I get that. Do you homework.... If you can't get this tank filled... Don't buy it! If you do have the means for filling a Scba tank.... It's nice !
