I know there has been some contraversy about who "used to make the Gargoyle" and "who DOES make the Gargoyle". Can anyone enlighten me as to who I should speak with in order to get one?

Yeah, I spole to Leroy about 2 months ago but I have heard since that he is not the builder of the Gargoyle anymore...atleast not the "good" ones.

Hmm, if melloroadman jumps on i'll bet he knows the scoop on them, i remember seeing something about that somewhere online but have no idea where, sorry. J

I talked to Leroy about 2 months. And then I heard that there was someone else making Gargoyles and not to buy Leroy's. I'm trying to get to the bottom of this!

Butcher45, would you care to elaborate? I have spent many hours on his sight. I know what it says but I would like to get an unbyassed opinion from those who may own or may have owned these guns, whether produced by Leroy or someone else. I can put on my website that I am the originator of something...that doesn't mean it's true. Just looking for some outside input.

No one but Leroy is making Gargoyles from here on out. Someone else was making them for awhile, but not anymore. Leroy is un-questionably the originator of the Gargoyle I shot the proto-type a few years ago at a hog hunt, and checked-out an earlier production model owned by a friend. Sweet rifles.

How much does one cost, and what is the difference between Leroy's 909 tune and Will Piatt's 909 tune?

Probably starting right at a grand but man are they nice looking guns. Never heard anything but good about them and i was pleased to have leroy contact me back and said he'd be glad to build any gun any of us want. The link for Leroy and the email address for him are correct. ;)
