I just acquired a FWB 603 match rifle and I would like to know what 177 pellets you guys are using for the 10m matches in these guns.
I have been shooting RWS Diablo Basic and I have some RWS R10 match anything else I should try?
thanks in advance for the info.

Walther Finale match 4.50s shoot a clean circular single hole at 10m and 50 ft (indoors with ventilation off) in mine but I don't shoot matches and mine is scoped.

Shane:
There are a host of pellets to try. I have a FWB 300SU that really likes the H&N Match Rifle Finale pellets (about 8.18gr)
As many will tell you, each rifle is picky as to what it shoots best. 10M guns are designed to deliver a wad cutter pellet at 10M to cut a clean hole in your target as compared to hollow points, pointy ends, round heads , etc that are designed for hunting. Many pellets are available in different head sizes to allow you to match your rifle's bore more accurately.
My suggestion (which I have made many times to many shooters) get a sampler pack from each of the major manufacturers that has a supply of each pellet they make and sit down at a bench rest and test them all! Then pick the ones that do best for even more testing, weighing, measuring, etc. An on-line shop straightshooters.com sells sampler packs that have 25 of a bunch of pellets for just this purpose. A kit of 18 or so different pellets costs about $25 plus shipping.
Below, I added an attachment from some tests that I just completed on my FWB 300. It includes accuracy for a single five shot groups and chronographed velocities for each of about 40 different tests (and nearly as many pellets.) You will see that the very light and very heavy pellets don't do well. Concentrate on the target type pellets rather than anything else.
By the way, the group diameter measurements are edge-to-edge not center-to-center. That means my FWB 300 shot its favorite pellet into a 0.20" diameter hole (5 pellets) at 50' indoors. During my earlier tests of head diameter effects, I shot 25 groups, all one hole, all less than 0.4," in a row with this rifle and pellet type.
Have fun.

The sampler kit will get you into many different pellets for minimal outlay.
Some of my match rifles like Meisterkugeln, one likes the Excite Econ pellets, and one likes the Meisterkugeln in the sorted box variety, one likes RWS Hobby, while yet another likes the Crosmans...........
Go figure
