Title: Bulk Fill CO2 rifle lubrication?
Post by: bbv13 on June 26, 2015, 09:47:35 PM
I just getting into the Darkside and now have my first bulk fill CO2 rifle. This may be a stupid question but should I put a couple drops of Pelgun oil in the CO2 adapter before I charge it with my 12oz CO2 tank?

Thanks ahead of time.

Introducing oil may or may not be appropriate for every fill, but I bet that everyone will agree that it is good at least every now and then.

Why?

It seems to me that it needs lubrication like any other CO2 gun but I don't know?

Hi Bryan,
Sorry that I wasn't clear. Let me try again.

Yes, do oil your rifle internally.

I have been able to find lots of information about most air guns online but no so much about CO2 or bulk fill guns? I just got a Crosman 622 back from Mac1 and it's set up to be bulk filled. The information I have found has been confusing. Some say you need to weigh the gun after filling? I haven't done that and it's worked fine so far. I guess I'll have to figure it out as I go.
