Hello Gent's, Just a short note to say that I'm back posting again, after quite a long time. I spent the last 6 months at our "National Defence Medical Center" in Ottawa due to recurring injuries I got in Yugo, when it was still hot & heavy, But that's beside the point, I just wanted to say that I picked up a new Hatsan AT-44 .25(single-shot, synth,. stock), topped off with a Hawke Sport HD 3-9X40 Rimfire Reticle IR and I love it, 33-34ft/lbs of power, 900fps(more or less, depending on your choice of ammo)I own 3 Hatsan PcP's, an AT-44"tact"10-22, ans an AT-44 .22 Pumper, but I have to say the 1/4 bore is my favourite(for the time being), I'm not limited to ammo length as in my other Hatsans(Bad magazine design), I'm getting great results w/ Skenco "Black Max" rounds @ 32gr,. and one of the longest pellets I've ever used, as w/ all Skencos penetration is not a problem, and w/ these rounds neither is accuracy, Benched I'm getting 5 rounds all covered by a quarter @ 150yds (I highly recommend "FX No-Limit" rings, as they will increase your accuracy on distance shots like you wouldn't believe. After getting told by my local paintball guy that he wont fill my cylinders anymore(because of a lack of a safety sticker), I sprung for an "Air Venturi" fill station, it's great, costs me $8.00 to fill and I get roughly 11-12 fills back up to almost 200 Bar from 100.Last weekend I brought the gun & the dog out for a long walk(which felt great after being stuck in a hospital bed for a few months), I tried quite a few different brands of .25 ammo, and was really happy with H&N's "New" Grizzly@ 31gr,.,,,These things flew like a Spiral thrown by Joe Namath,LOL., and a round I made myself, an H&N Crow-Mag w/ an "Avanti" bb glued to the cavity, my own Rocket so to speak, and @33gr,. they pack a punch, some of the bb's were pushed straight through the back of the pellet, and at 100 yds No key-holing at all perfectly round holes all where I aimed, I think I'm going to have to make a hundred of these little beauties for this fall's JackRabbit season. Well, anyway's, It's nice to get back on-line, and look for more post's, and maybe a video or two from me in the near future. UBIQUE!, Andy.
