Hi Folks,
I have been shooting my MM tuned XS 12 and have put well over a 1000 22 caliber Crosman Premier Hollow Points thru it. I can use some recommendations on what pellets to order and try.
This is a fun rifle, it is being groomed for the 12 ounce beverage can timed matches.
Thanks in advance,
BobH.

Mine seems to like the RWS line a little better than the Crosmans with the super H point being a little more accurate than the super point or superdome. This is shooting off a bench rest @ about 22 yds. It didn't like the Peak brand that came with it. All in all, it's not the most accurate, but a very fun gun to shoot.

Thanks Mark,
I will try the RWS H points. I'm still getting acquainted with the XS. I haven't shot a spring much in the last 3 years, I'm sure my hold needs some perfecting.

The best pellets for a given gun pretty much depend on the gun. What works best in my gun may be the poorest choice for yours. You have to try several.
Some say if you chrony your pellets the ones with the highest fpe in your gun are generally the best choice. I haven't done that so I can neither confirm nor deny.

Shooting off the bench, I find that I use a firm but not squeezing hold on the pistol grip (right handed) & no hold with my left hand. A loose hold will allow the gun to recoil forward too much. This is not accurate. I use a modified jig rest, much like a Lead Sled, but the forearm rest is a small foam paint roller, so the gun has little friction when fired. I'm sure that some of the other pellet brands may shoot better, but for now, I'm sticking with the RWS & Crosman. Hope this helps.
